Fuller's Vintage Ale 2009 500ml, 8.5% - England

Reddish color with a darker head.

Sweet aroma. Feels like bourbon or cognac. Dried fruits and sugar.

Dried fruits flavor overcomes by a lot of bitterness. Malty taste with some caramel, cherries and brown sugar.

Maybe this should age for a few years?

Golden Pride 500ml, 8.5% - England

Amber color with a two finger crispy head.

Citrus, malts and caramel aroma.

Strong taste, lot's of alcohol with sweetness. Some caramel and hops at the end. I even get small hints of cherries.

Nothing special really..!

Fuller's 1845 500ml, 6.3% - England

Poured dark red with a one finger light brown, fluffy head. Which is just floating in the glass.

Very malty and bready aroma.

Amazing taste. Simultaneously sweet and bitter. Malty, with hints of caramel. Pleasant bitter aftertaste.

Lovely beer indeed! Creamy and gentle.

Fuller's ESB 500ml, 5.9% - England

One of my favorite bitters. Served best at Bishops Arms on tap.

Pours clear, red amber color with a soft and bubbly head.

Hops up front. Malty and bready aroma with a hint of caramel.

Bitter hoppy flavor. Biscuit, bread, malts and caramel taste.

Amazing beer, I really like it!

Fuller's London Porter 500ml, 5.4% - England

Poured dark brown into a pint glass, with an air full mocha head.

Very rich aroma. Malts, coffee, toffee, vanilla and chocolate.

Coffee is dominating here. Chocolate flavor, vanilla, some roastyness.

Creamy mouth feel, carbonation is ok.

Fuller's India Pale Ale 500ml, 5.3% - England

Cloudy amber color with a tiny head.

Sweet malty aroma with a fruity touch. Nothing else really.

Light and refreshing taste actually. Some orange and sweet touch of caramel. A bit malty. The hops are hardly noticeable.

Organic Honeydew 500ml, 5% - England

Light amber color with a small fizzy head.

Malty smell, slightly sweet (most probably the honey).

Not what I would call an appealing taste. Starts off with citrus and followed by honey, malts and a tad of caramel. Light bitterness in the aftertaste.

Pass!

Fuller's Discovery Blonde Beer 330ml, 4.2% - England

Light golden appearance with a two finger whipped cream head.

A bit nutty aroma, with hints of hops and flowers. Some maltyness is noticeable.

Very light and pale taste. Nuts, some spices, caramel and hops. Although they fade away so quickly. Some honey in the aftertaste.

Slightly dry mouth feel, needs more character.

Fuller's Old Winter Ale 500ml, 5.3% - England

I thought I'd continue with Christmas reviews while the holidays last and the time is appropriate.

Darker mahogany appearance with a small head which sinks rapidly.

Sweet malty smell with bits of caramel, a tad bready.

Delightful taste! Malty, sweet, some caramel, nuts and orange peels. Brown sugar, English hops and that magic bitterness in the after taste.
